March of 2017, I started participating in Wellness Wednesdays at NAIT. I am a huge believer in this because it gives the students a five minute massage to help them through their day. This is so beneficial (if not long enough) because, especially as students, they are carrying heavy backpacks, books, doing a lot of physical work and it’s good emotionally. A lot of them have lives and jobs depending on their marks and exams. It also allows them to get something that they may not be able to afford on a regular basis right now.
Some of the staff get massages too, and that’s a really great thing.
